Originals – “Girl Inventor” album by Erin Hill & her Psychedelic Harp

“Girl Inventor” is the debut Erin Hill & her Psychedelic Harp album. The album comprises 10 original sci-fi pop songs written by Erin, and featuring vocals, electric harp, bass, drums, cello, and pedal steel. Here are clips from the 10 songs on the album:


Solo Harp & Voice

Erin does a variety of voice-and-harp arrangements, including pop tunes (everything from “Stranger in Paradise” to “Hotel California”), opera (Italian arias, German lieder), country (“Crazy,” “Ring of Fire,” etc.), Christmas songs (traditional and original), and jazz (“Skylark,” “Dream,” etc.).


Solo Harp

Erin does her own arrangements of pop songs on the harp, from Buddy Holly, Del Shannon, and Frankie Avalon… to Neil Young, David Bowie & The Rolling Stones… to ABBA, Stevie Wonder, and The Eagles… to Madonna, a-ha and The Police. She is well-known for her pop and jazz arrangements at the Ritz-Carlton on Central Park South, where she played full-time for several years.


Celtic

Erin sings and plays Irish songs on the harp, performing either solo, or with her Celtic band, Four Celtic Voices, whose debut album hit #1 on the Billboard World Music Chart in May, 2009.
