Yes, just my harp went onstage with The Villagers for their NYC gigs — harpist Mali Llywelyn came across the pond to play with Conor O’Brien’s band The Villagers, and she needed a harp to play, so my Celtic harp Ylla came to the rescue. Mali and I are very much alike – we’re both redheads, and we both play the harp, the piano, and sing! Mali played harp, keyboards, and sang with Conor for their NYC gigs. I got to see their final gig at Union Pool and it was beautiful. They packed the house and the songs were gorgeous. Here are a few photos I took at the gig.
