Erin Hill: Harp Oddity! at The Cutting Room, Oct. 30th

$15 tickets on sale now — Rock harpist & singer Erin Hill is known for her arrangements of David Bowie songs on electric harp & vocals, from Space Oddity through Blackstar. On Halloween Eve, she brings her Bowie show to The Cutting Room, along with her band of drums, pedal steel, and strings. And in honor of Devil’s Night, the audience is hereby invited to come dressed as your favorite Bowie, should you so desire!

Erin has played & sung with artists such as Cyndi Lauper, Kanye West, Enya, moby, Sinead O’Connor, a-ha, Josh Groban, Jewel, Randy Newman, Martha Wainwright, and Dave Chappelle as “The Pretty White Girl Who Sings Dave’s Thoughts” on Comedy Central’s Chappelle’s Show. She’s also performed for Serena Williams, Carl Icahn, Bill Murray, two First Ladies and for royalty. Her Celtic album hit #1 on the Billboard world chart, and she was featured in the Original Broadway casts of Titanic and Sam Mendes’ Cabaret.

Erin is also a well-known sci-fi geek, whose Bowie-esque album of sci-fi originals, Girl Inventor, is out on Cleopatra Records. She played the Game of Thrones theme on her harp for HBO’s Season 3 promo, and she is a regular performer at Dragon Con, one of the world’s largest science fiction and fantasy conventions.
