I was asked to assemble a demo CD today for myself as a Harpist, and a Harpist/Singer. It’s not often I get asked to burn a physical CD anymore, so it was kind of fun. The hardest part was narrowing it down from all the cover songs I’ve recorded (they asked for under 10 cover songs or song clips, including some Celtic). Here is what I finally came up with:

3. “Girl from Ipanema” – Solo Harp
4. “If It’s Magic” by Stevie Wonder – Harp & Voice
5. “Paparazzi” – Harp + drum loop
6. “Love Is Like a Butterfly” by Dolly Parton – Harp & Voice
7. “Molly Malone” – Celtic – Harp & Voice
8. “The Blackbird” – Celtic – Harp & Voice
9. “The Girl I Left Behind Me” – Solo Harp
I think it gives a good example of some of the different songs and styles I do… I would have liked to include “At Last” by Etta James (Harp & Vocal), but even though I recorded it recently, it hasn’t been mixed down yet. Hopefully it will be coming soon, along with others!
