I’m playing harp at the Waldorf-Astoria in Manhattan on Sunday December 13th, 2015, during the brunch hours of 10 AM to 2:45 PM. I’ll be playing my signature mix of pop tunes and standards, from the 50’s. 60’s, 70’s, 80’s on up to Adele, Lady Gaga, U2, John Legend, etc., all my own arrangements. I love playing at the NYC hotels, so this will be fun. I used to be the harpist at the Ritz-Carlton on Central Park South 6 days a week in the… Continue reading
After a great Celtic concert last night in Illinois, where I played the harp and sang, I flew back from Chicago early this morning, hopped into the car with my mom as soon as I made it back home, and made my way back to the Center Street Public House in Darien, CT to play the harp for their fantastic Mother’s Day brunch. As she was eating her dessert, Mom said… Continue reading

Tomorrow I will write about the rest of my Valentine’s weekend exploits, but I’m just back home from an entire weekend full of gigs, so I will quickly share a couple more photos from my harp gig on Friday the 13th at the fantastic advertising agency Wieden + Kennedy in Manhattan… Continue reading
I had a great time playing harp today at the advertising agency Wieden + Kennedy for their Valentine’s Day party. The first exciting thing that happened when I brought my harp in was that I saw — puppies! Yes, they’re a dog-friendly workplace, which was just a thrill for me, getting to see puppies cavorting as I played the harp. Other highlights were accompanying an impromptu rap to Drake’s “Started from the Bottom,” and… (photos included) Continue reading
I was asked to assemble a demo CD today for myself as a Harpist, and a Harpist/Singer. It’s not often I get asked to burn a physical CD anymore, so it was kind of fun. The hardest part was narrowing it down from all the cover songs I’ve recorded (they asked for under 10 cover songs or song clips, including some Celtic). Here is what I finally came up with… Continue reading
It was great fun last night playing for the opening of Bijules jewelry designer Jules Kim’s PreLove Collection!
I loved playing requests such as Bob Marley, Enya, and Radiohead, while my electric harp was surrounded by roses. And I got to crank up the volume at Open Space Gallery in Manhattan where the opening was held. Here are a few photos from the Bijules event… Continue reading
