Joe’s Pub on July 25th! Adventures in Harp Town

I’m thrilled to be bringing my electric harp back to Joe’s Pub on Thursday, July 25th for a 7 PM show (doors open at 6 PM) — here is the $15 ticket link! This will be a big multi-media show with my drummer and band and special guests as well. I’ll be singing & playing all sorts of music, my harp & voice covers of Bowie, Queen, The Beatles, etc. including yes, a few Christmas tunes since July 25th happens to be Christmas in July! And I will be sure to do a few Erin originals as well, for my fellow sci-fi fans!

• Notes: Renowned Harpist & Singer Erin Hill is bringing her electric harp and her unique brand of rock/pop harp-and-vocal music back to Joe’s Pub. Erin has played and sung with artists such as Cyndi Lauper, Kanye West, Enya, moby, Sinead O’Connor, a-ha, Josh Groban, Jewel, Randy Newman, Martha Wainwright, and Dave Chappelle as “The Pretty White Girl Who Sings Dave’s Thoughts” on Comedy Central’s Chappelles’ Show. She’s also performed for two First Ladies and for royalty. Her Celtic album hit #1 on the Billboard world chart, and she played the Game of Thrones theme on her harp for HBO’s Season 3 promo. Erin will be performing a variety of music, including songs from her album Harp Town (on Cleopatra Records), which features her arrangements of everything from Sinatra and The Beatles to Rihanna and Radiohead. July 25th also happens to be Christmas in July, so don’t be surprised if she breaks out a couple tunes from her Christmas Harp album (also on Cleopatra). Erin is a well-known sci-fi geek, and she’ll also be performing some of her original sci-fi songs from her other Cleopatra album, Girl Inventor. Erin is a regular performer at Dragon Con, one of the world’s largest science fiction and fantasy conventions.
