a snowy harp day in NYC…

I had two harp gigs today in the latest NYC blizzard… I played this morning at Finn MacCool’s in Port Washington, NY from noon to 3, and if any of you think that’s not morning, then you don’t know me very well, because for me, that is the morning! When I got done at Finn MacCool’s, my car was covered with snow and the drive back was about 10 miles per hour. I got home in time to leave my salmon dinner in the refrigerator (and give my mom her salmon dinner – we love the stuffed salmon at Finn’s, so I always bring back two of them for us!), and then I set out again to play for an engagement party in Manhattan for a really great couple. Slush and ice and slipping and sliding the whole way. But I made it back home safe! I am now officially exhausted from a pretty busy week, so I will post photos over the next couple of days. But right now, I have an awesome stuffed salmon dinner to eat!
